National fraud initiative - fair processing notice
Cabinet Office (CO) currently requires us to participate in its anti-fraud initiative. For this initiative, we provide details of pensioners so that CO can compare those details with information from other public bodies.
These checks ensure, for example, that:
- no pensions are being paid to people who have died or are no longer entitled
- pension income is being declared in housing benefit applications
